Neil Turbin was in at Jet City Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon with Dario Seixas on bass guitar, Henry Moreno on Drums, Vernon Anderson on lead guitar and Mitch Perry on lead guitar. Iron Mike's Metal Video was on hand to film raw video footage of the group for use at a later date. The group played songs off of Neil's 2003 solo album release "Threatcon Delta"

Neil will be appearing live at the South Bay Music Awards on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Appearing with Neil Turbin - Vocals, are Vernon Anderson - Guitar (Invicta), Mitch Perry - Guitar (XYZ), Henry Moreno - Drums (Imagika), and Jamie Carter - Bass (Gary Hoey). Neil will play a few songs from his new album "Threatcon Delta"

Neil played 3 sets on Saturday afternoon at the Starboard Attitude with his metal-blues band consisting of Jonathan Grell on lead guitar, Sammy Persons on Bass and John Fuentes on drums. The band played material of Elmore James, Jimi Hendrix, Curtis Mayfield, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top and more. To top it off Neil and Company went on to play a second gig at Center Staging Studios 9 & 10 at a giant Halloween party in Burbank, CA where they were joined by Bruce Monical, Studio Engineer from Capitol Records Studios on bass guitar.

Neil will be appearing live for a few songs with Andy Walo at a Benefit for Roy Rawlins at the Starboard Attitude on Thursday, October 16, 2003 from 7pm to 12am at the Redondo Beach Pier. Bands include: Mitch Perry, Andy Walo, Rich Harper, Zola Moon and others. The Roy Benefit is to help Neils friend Roy who has sustained recent serious life threatening injuries. Roy is a big wave surfer and former Navy Seal and has been a longtime friend to Neil and notable guitarists Mitch Perry, Andy Walo and Rich Harper. Raffle Tickets and Door Prizes include 10 ft Longboard, Beach Cruiser Bicycle, NASCAR ride along, 20" Color TV, 2 night stay at Radisson and other cool stuff. Come out and have fun on a Thursday night for a good cause and help our friend Roy out!

Threatcon Delta Update!

Neil Turbin "Threatcon Delta" is being manufactured over the next few weeks and will be released through Metal Mayhem and Middle Finger Records together. It should hit the streets by the first week of August!

The post on Neil's message board at www.UltimateMetal.com has been confirmed. Neil was back in action singing 3 sets with The Rhythm Junkies on Sunday Afternoon, June 8th at "Starboard Attitude" on the Redondo Beach Pier, CA. The Rhythm Junkies perform mostly heavy rock and blues. The band consists of Mitch Perry, Sean McNabb, Ray Hernandez and was formerly fronted by Paul Shortino, Paul Shortino, Jr., and Chaz West. Andy Walo substituted for Mitch on guitar, who was out qualifying for a race. John Fuentes "formerly of Kurt James Band" sat in on drums for a few numbers as well.
